These are documents required by the Center for Medicare/Medicaid Services (CMS) and my license is always on the line regarding them.

Why Clients Lose Me…

THIS TOPIC ONLY INVOLVES MEDICARE ADVANTAGE CLIENTS. MEDICARE SUPPLEMENT CLIENTS ARE NOT AFFECTED.
Every year I lose clients to the grim reaper which sadly cannot be helped… and to slick talking sales people and television commercials which can SURELY be helped. Nearly every time, after someone else has with or without their permission, changed their Medicare plans, they call me afterwards and ask me to fix what they did to their case. They messed it up of course.
And… i have to say “Sorry. Can’t help”.

Lost Your Letter? DOWNLOAD HERE!

Hi there.

Do no worry. Over the years we have seen many people disregard, throw away, or lose their annual letter and supporting documentation. sometimes they simply forget to tell me when they move. It happens. We are all so bombarded that it is hard sometimes to tell what is important and what is trash.

So let me help you.

Below is a link to the two documents we need you to send in to book your appointment.

  • The first is a Scope of Appointment. This is a CMS required document. In this document there are 5 boxes you may initial to list the topics we might discuss. I tell clients to just initial them all so we can talk about ALL your options need be. So, in the Scope of Appointment, you simply initial those places and then sign and date below.
  • The second document is a Consent form. In this document you are giving me consent to contact you via phone, text, email, etc to help you this year. This is what I need to be able to contact you. This form lasts for 1 year at a time.

Both of these documents are on the link below. Simply click the link, download the forms, print them, sign them, and then mail them back to me. My address is;

Pre-Appointment Paperwork

Prior to speaking with or meeting with any Medicare beneficiary, I must collect the following two documents once a year and save the signed documents for 10 years.

Yep. I am not kidding. If I do not, I put my license in jeopardy. No one may speak to you legally without doing so. Think about that the next time you are getting one of those calls. LOL

Anyways, being that I am a compliant guy and always want to do what is required of me to serve you the best, here we are.

MAPD, PDP and the Inflation Reduction Act

Please watch this short video that explains what we know and what I think might happen during this coming Medicare Annual Election Period and how it will affect you.

Some of it is positive. Some of it is a big question mark. EVERY beneficiary needs this information which is why I am sharing the information like this.

Below is an excellent chart that shows the changes in the PDP component from 2024 to 2025.

We are going to have to be very careful this year. My biggest fear is that the insurers will drop some of the most expensive drugs and this will leave you guys paying the entire cost of the medication because the $2,000 cap only applies to drugs in the insurer’s formulary.
