Medicare Season Woes… IMPORTANT.

rest assured that I am on top of it all as evidenced by this video. The key is… some companies are pulling out some counties or some specific plans from scattered counties. I just want you to know this so we can plan.

KYNECT ANNUAL REVIEWS

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN DOOING KYNECT REVIEWS, PLEASE WATCH THIS 8 MINS VIDEO WHERE I WALK THROUGH THE STEPS OF A REVIEW.

NOTES:

  1. SIGN INTO CLIENT’S CASE
  2. LOOK OVER MAIL. SEE WHAT THE STATE HAS BEEN SENDING THE CLIENT AND IF THERE ARE ANY RFI’S NEEDED.
  3. GO TO SUMMARY. LOOK TO MAKE SURE THE FAMILY STUFF… AND IF THEY ARE FILING MARRIED FILING JOINTLY. AND WHAT THEIR INCOME IS. ASK THEM IF THAT IS RIGHT. IF IT IS NOT THEN YOU GO TO THE NEXT STEP WHERE YOU WILL “REPORT A CHANGE”.
  4. ONCE ANY CHANGES ARE COMPLETE, THEN GO TO ENROLLMENT MANAGER AND LOOK TO SEE WHAT THEY HAVE AND WHAT THEIR COST WILL BE FOR THAT PLAN.
  5. THEN LOOK FOR ALTERNATIVES.
  6. CLICK CHANGE PLAN. EXPLAIN THAT YOU WILL CHECK FOR ALTERNATIVES BUT IN THE END YOU MIGHT NOT CHANGE ANYTHING FOR THEM. IT’S JUST ABOUT GETTING A BETTER PLAN FOR LESS MAYBE.

THIS TOPIC ONLY INVOLVES MEDICARE ADVANTAGE CLIENTS. MEDICARE SUPPLEMENT CLIENTS ARE NOT AFFECTED.
Every year I lose clients to the grim reaper which sadly cannot be helped… and to slick talking sales people and television commercials which can SURELY be helped. Why Do We Do The Annual Meetings?

 

This season so far I have spoken to more than 100 clients, with another 200 scheduled and about 163 I am just starting to schedule. While speaking with those that I have spoken so far we have been seeing vast differences in costs, networks, etc. By meeting for 30 minutes several (more than 5) have found savings of more than $2-3,000.

Remember, get your paper(s) in ASAP and get your appointment scheduled. Medicare client appointments are only 30 minutes and Kynect client appointments are no more than an hour in most cases. We have to review your profile each year.

We are 63% Scheduled… very few appointment slots left in October. November will fill up fast because of Kynect. Then only two weeks remain in December… before my long winter’s nap.

Well, tomorrow it kicks off the madness. I have roughly 145 appointments scheduled for phone calls with clients during October and about another 35-45 slots left. Wow. This is going really well. Thank you to the 145 people who have sent in their CMS required documents already. 40 of you have even scheduled your appointments already. Great job. We still have 184 more of you out there I need to hear from. Of course you should have received your annual letter by now. If you trashed it. Do not be ashamed.
