2018 Medicare & You Manual

Each year CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) publishes it’s Medicare & You manual. This is the place to find all relevant subject matter. If you are a Medicare beneficiary, you should have received yours by now.

This manual explains everything from the types of coverage you have and need, the copays/coinsurance that you face as a beneficiary.

“Click” to Download your copy.

I find that more helpful is having a digital copy stored right on your computer desktop. With a digital copy you can open, search, and print the parts that are important to you (a lot easier than the paper copy.

To retrieve yours, simply click the image non the right and then “right-click” your mouse and “Save as”, give it a name, and save it to your desktop.

Later, if you need to look something up, just simply hold down the “CRTL” key and “f”, and a search box will pop up so you can search for any words or phrase in this document.

Very Helpful.

How Can I Help You?

Each year you need to meet with, sit down with, and have a licensed, experienced Medicare insurance professional review your plan options. He/she needs to check your drugs, physicians, facilities and other providers right on Medicare.gov to make sure you will have access to them. He/she needs to check your premiums, deductibles, and copays/coinsurance as well, to make sure you are not paying more than you need to.

These things change every year. Fact of the matter is, these things (some of them) change monthly even. There are no certainties as to network inclusions and which drugs a company will or will not pay for. All we can do is take a “snap-shot” of what your needs are today and check for inclusion today. Tomorrow is never promised.

I advocate using a “time well spent” appointment agenda for this very purpose. If you call me, and are located any where in the state of Kentucky, I will make time to come visit with you, and perform needed research on your case. To me, this is the only tool we have to prevent nasty surprises.

Sadly most experts will not take the time to research your case the way I will. I just do not know of another way to make sure of the facts.

Call me today though. Appointment slots are filling up fast.
