Attention Kynect.com Members: ACA (“Obamacare”)

If you have NOT yet received any Form 1095-A from Kynect and have NOT yet filed your 2014 income tax return, the IRS advises to file Form 4868 (request for an automatic extension) by April 15.

Once you receive your Form 1095-A, you should file your tax return using the information from the form.  Please note that if you file a Form 4868, you have more time to file, but not an extension to pay any tax you owe.  There is more information on Form 4868 at IRS.gov.

If you have NOT yet received Form 1095-A and HAVE filed your 2014 income tax return, the IRS requires you to file an amended return once you receive your Form 1095-A.  For more information about Form 1095-A and filing your taxes, please click Get Answers under Tax Questions?.

Medicare Part G Zero Premium Nursing Home Plan

zero premium, no deductible Long Term Health Plan

Say you are an older senior citizen and can no longer take care of yourself but
the government says there is no Nursing Home care available for you. So, what do you do?

You opt for Medicare Part G.

The plan gives anyone 75 or older a gun (Part G) and one bullet. You are
allowed to shoot one worthless politician. This means you will be sent to prison for the rest of your life where you will receive three meals a day, a roof over your head, central
heating and air conditioning, cable TV, a library, and all the health care you need. Need new teeth? No problem. Need glasses? That’s great. Need a hearing aid, new hip, knees, kidney, lungs, sex change, or heart? They are all covered!

As an added bonus, your kids can come and visit you at least as often as they do
now!

And, who will be paying for all of this? The same government that just told you they can’t
afford for you to go into a nursing home. And you will get rid of a useless politician while you are at it. And now, because you are a prisoner, you don’t have to pay any more
income taxes!

Is this a great country or what?

Now that you have solved your senior financial plan, enjoy the rest of your
week!

(Obviously, this was a joke, taken from Facebook. I found it amusing.)

Are You Without Health Coverage?

check markIf you owe a fee with your taxes for not having health coverage in 2014 and don’t yet have health coverage for 2015, you may still be able to get coverage for 2015.

The Health Insurance Marketplace is providing individuals and families who need to pay the fee when they file their 2014 taxes with one last chance to get covered for 2015.

This is too important to put off. If you don’t have coverage for the remainder of 2015 you’ll risk having to pay the fee again next year for the portion of this year that you don’t have coverage. The fee for people who don’t have coverage increases in 2015 to $325 per person or 2% of your household income – whichever is higher.
